LES BATH'O DU CANAL |About Us
History : "The Canal du Midi has been classed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Built between 1667 and 1681 under the direction of Pierre Paul RIQUET, it is 240 km long and has 63 locks, 350 beautiful engineering feats and 130 bridges. The terracing required for construction of the canal involved the movement of 7.000.000 m3 of earth which was all done by hand. For more information see www.midicanal.fr
 
 
 

 

 

 

 

Aim : LES BATH'O DU CANAL» offer a meander along the waterway, a place for dreaming and relaxing with friends and family. Find pleasure as you discover the beautiful countryside. Our non-polluting and silent electric boats care for nature.
There are no licence requirements to drive the boats which have either 5 or 7 places.
Children are safe onboard and can enjoy spotting plants and animals.
Various routes are possible, choose from a trip of  half an hour to 4 hours.

Useful Information/rules

Life jackets are compulsory for all children under 10 years of age and for non swimmers, these are available on demand.
It is forbidden to pass through locks.

The company offers CAP 400 and CAP 370 boats, which are only 4 meters long and which are to be used soley in the canal.
We suggest 3 different routes from pont Haute Roque at Portiragnes beach.

PLEASE NOTE! A form of ID or passport will be requested which taking a boat.

We do not accept bank cards or travellers cheques.
